Hi! I’m not in the best of moods this morning. On Tuesday, I sorted my documents out and put my birth certificate and certificate of state of origin aside because I was going to need them the next morning to get my international passport. I’m quite sure I put the file in my bag, now I can’t find it. I’ve checked everywhere at home and I’ve scattered my desk twice, I’ve asked my colleagues, still nothing. I’m calm sha.

Anyway, I’ve been heard of activated charcoal mask for a while and I was looking forward to trying it, then I stumbled on Tunde Ednut’s IG page. He posted a video of a girl removing the mask and it looked so painful, so I went on YouTube and checked for more videos and did a little research. I found out the level of pain varies according to the glue one uses, the amount of time the mask spends on the face and the individual’s pain threshold. I bought my activated charcoal and glue from an IG vendor (IG: Hairffiliation), she sells natural hair products too.

I left the mask on for 30 mins and before the time elapsed sef, I knew something was wrong. The mask was cracking.

It was very easy to remove and I thought it didn’t work, but then I saw this. Just look at that whitehead.

Didn’t notice much difference though.

The whiteheads came out in full force to show me pepper. Like, “how dare you try to get rid of us?!” lmao

I used the mask on Wednesday and I figured out that this wasn’t the glue most people used, so I ordered for the particular glue from Amazon. The glue is about $2, so I bought a phone case and screen protector too. Can’t be paying shipping and delivery fees ontop $2 item. The recommended glue is Elmer’s Liquid School Glue. I’m looking forward to trying this mask again.

I started this post on a sad note because of my credentials. While writing, I decided to call my dad to help me look for my old passport, so I could renew instead of doing a new one. He said he had someone that could do it for me and blah blah. Long story short, I’m getting my passport done on Monday, not all heroes wear capes.

Do have an amazing weekend.
